3 Bedroom House in Eugene
This is our family's home, designed in a way that we can quickly pack up and move out to rent to travelers periodically. Since we actually live here the rest of the time, it will feel more like a home and less like a hotel or vacation rental. Hosting our home regularly keeps us from getting cluttered and keeps us motivated to keep our home in top condition.
THE SPACE:
This house sleeps 6 people, unless you also rent out the guest house which sleeps an additional 5 people. Search for "LOFTY COTTAGE" if you want to add more people! (two separate homes, but shared driveway)
Bedrooms: Downstairs is the large master bedroom with a KING BED (this can be separated into two Twin-XL beds if you request in advance). Upstairs, two bedrooms each have a Twin-XL bed with new mattresses, as well as Twin pullout mattresses underneath.
Living Spaces: We are "foodies" and our kitchen was designed to be cooked in. There is plenty of counter space, a roll-out butcher-block island and separate dining room.
Bathrooms: Two full bathrooms. The downstairs bathroom includes a large tub.
Laundry: Washer and Dryer available, with laundry detergent provided.
Outside: The yard is about a third of an acre, with a large covered patio and a section of soft green lawn to play or relax in. Most of the rest of the yard is taken up with garden or animals. When we rent the house out, we schedule someone to come feed the animals, so you don't have to worry about that. Currently we have chickens and two pigs.
Special Accommodations: I love to host people, including those who may require special accommodations. The house will come set up for the "average traveler" but I can bring out other accommodations for young travelers or those with special needs, upon request. Examples: outlet covers, pack-n-play bed (with sheet), plastic toddler dishes & eating utensils, child-safety locks on cupboards, baby gate at the bottom of the stairs. Please ask if you don't see your accommodation listed!
SPECIAL NOTE:
Cats: When you are not visiting, we have two cats who live in this home. When we rent the house out, the kitties stay with someone else and the house gets thoroughly cleaned. While we do our best to remove any pet allergens, guests who are severely allergic should call or message me to ask about my specific cleaning methods to make sure they are adequate for your health needs.
