Also within the ranch, you'll find a lake, golf courses, restaurants, shops, bike trails, and horseback riding (some activities will require a small fee). If you ever decide leave the ranch grounds, there are plenty of adventures in the area. Downtown Sisters is eight miles southeast, and Bend is 22 miles beyond, so you'll always be close to restaurants, breweries, shops, and entertainment. Come winter, Hoodoo Ski Area is 20 miles west, so you can easily head out there for a snowy, excitement-filled day of skiing, snowboarding, sledding, and snowball fights.
