The outdoor types will find the nearby mountain trail system an excellent place for mountain biking, hiking, trail running and bird-watching. Perhaps you're into water sports? The Dutch House is not far from Spring Creek and world famous fishing on The Williamson River.
Guests will have access to three bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, dining room and the outdoor area..
I am available to help as needed throughout your stay! I love communicating with guests, but can be as hands off as you want. I will not be on the premises unless needed.
The Dutch House is located in a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood. The other homes in the area take great care of their properties and it shows. The property is located 11 minutes to downtown Klamath Falls, but there is still plenty to do within driving distance. There is not much to do within walking distance, except enjoy the home.
There is plenty of parking on site which can accommodate large vehicles.
-This is a quiet residential neighborhood! Please be respectful of our neighbors and observe the quiet hours.
-The homeowner is extremely allergic to animals. We love animals, but unfortunately are not able to have them on-site, with no exceptions.
-The home has a swamp cooler for A.C on site. For the swamp cooler to be effective, some of the windows in the home must be cracked open. Because of this the back room might be slightly warmer.
-The property is located close to Kingsley Air Field. You may see or hear the F-15's or other military aircraft flying over the property, which can be loud, but epic!
-Absolutely no smoking or vaping on site.
Some guests have requested specific check out instructions. However, I understand many of you are on vacation and traveling. The last thing I expect is for you to have a check list of cleaning tasks! I ask that you leave the place as you would a dear friend (do not trash the home and pick up after yourself!) If you wish to help out you can do the following, but DO NOT feel obligated.
-Strip the beds
-Put linens in the washer
-Do the dishes/load dishes
- Clean and wipe debris off countertops
Our goal is for you to have a relaxing vacation and not have to worry about tedious check out instructions.
IMPORTANT: Check out time is at 10:00 A.M. My cleaners are usually at the property at 10:00 A.M. Unless communicated otherwise, anybody who has not left the property by 10:01 A.M will be charged a late check out fee of $90.
All guest will assume the responsibility of ensuring they have left the property by 10:00 A.M. We provide clocks in the home as a convenience for our guests and this should not be used as the primary source for check out time. Please double check your personal devices to ensure you leave the property on time. Unless communicated in advance, there will be no exceptions to this rule.
-Booking guests MUST be present.
- No smoking onsite, including vaping, marijuana, cigarettes. Property owner has an extreme sensitivity. No exceptions!
