Science tells us that life on earth may have begun over three billion years ago, on the rocks of Shark Bay in western Australia. We brought the Australian rocks to the Oregon Coast, to the shores of Gearhart, for you to renew, refresh, relax, and experience a new beginning. Our family's condo has been beautifully remodeled in contemporary fashion. It’s a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the second floor, with decks front and back -- both with awesome views of the ocean. King bed in the main bedroom, full and 1 twin bed in the second bedroom, and a sleeper in the living room. Easily sleeps 6 to 8 depending on how cozy you make it. An inflatable bed is stashed in the closet for larger parties.
Step on to the Ausse Rocks in the main bath - it's a spa-experience not to be missed. Private high-speed wi-fi and wired internet access is available. Full media center with very user-friendly operation, including: access to thousands of hours of movies and television shows from our own in-house server; a web browser to open your own Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus account, or any other, through the browser. (complementary Netflix account provided); or just play your own Blu-Ray or DVDs from your collection. And, you also have access to plain-old cable channels! A Nintendo Wii U is available, loaded with games and wi-fi access to create your own gaming experience.
Enjoy year round, from the 4th of July parade and fireworks just off the beach, to the magnificent crashing surf in winter storms, all just a short stroll away. No doubt summer is very popular on the coast, but we prefer the storm watching season. Experience the power of nature – inside a cozy condo with a fire in the fireplace, or right on the beach experiencing the power of nature (a couple of rain suits and gear are available). The amenities here are endless, golf, fishing, hiking, antiquing, and the best razor clamming on the Oregon coast. Our condo offers a very pet friendly atmosphere, with no size limit on your four legged family member. ‘Big Dog’ bed & bowls provided.
Pet fee is $20.00 per night, per pet. (max 3 pets) Pets are NOT to be left unattended in the unit.
