It is here that sublime relaxation awaits you in this private retreat nestled in the forest, designed to be a natural extension of the landscape. At Big Rock Retreat textures of wood and stone, high ceilings with exposed wood beams, and the soft muted interior color palette evoke a sense of warmth and calm to help you relax and recharge.
The great room in the main living space includes a spacious chef’s kitchen, dining area, and living room. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to pamper your inner chef. The cozy living room is warmed by a large stone fireplace and features all modern technology, with a 65” HD smart TV and wireless internet access throughout the home. An incredible 16-foot glass wall slides open to a large private stone patio with a gas fire pit, and an incredible ridge top view. Open or closed, you will feel like you are still in the woods, cozy in the dead of winter, relaxing in air-conditioned comfort on the hottest summer day, or bringing the sounds of the forest and a warm breeze into the space. From the patio, there is a large bbq on the side of the house for outdoor grilling, or you can walk down a few steps to soak in the hot tub on the lower level.
Four spacious bedrooms include two master suites, each with king bed and en-suite bathroom with oversized glass and tile showers, dual vanities, and ample closet space. The upstairs suite offers a private deck to sit and enjoy the beautiful views with a good book, a drink, or both! On the lower level, one bedroom features two twin beds perfect for young children, or they can be converted into a single king bed. The fourth bedroom is a huge bunk/entertainment room, with two full over full bunk beds, spectacular views, a large 4k HD smart TV, and games for the kids. There is also direct access to the hot tub on this level.
During your stay at Big Rock Retreat, you can walk out the door and hike down to the Cle Elum River, or explore the vast Suncadia trail system. Two championship golf courses are a short drive or bike ride away, as are the resort’s lodges, with a choice of restaurants, bars, entertainment, and the Swiftwater Cellars restaurant and winery.
