Built in 1910 this coastal cottage has been completely remodeled to incorporate modern day conveniences without losing the old world charm.
High ceilings, a propane rock fireplace, detached game room with shuffleboard table, huge yard with fire pit and above all a GREAT location make this the ideal place to enjoy your time on this very special peninsula.
"True Blue" is an old cottage made new again and should have everything you need to make this your "home away from home" on the Long Beach Peninsula.
The kitchen has all new appliances including a dishwasher and farmhouse sink. Basic spices, plenty of dishes/glassware, pots and pans and a coffee bar with coffee, creamer, sugar, etc. for your morning brew will get you started.
The main area of the house boasts a charming living room and dining room with the original wainscoting and built-ins. The propane fireplace and 65" smart TV will make "staying in" cozy and fun.
The dining area can comfortably seat 8 or even 10 with the 8 foot dining table so making meals together and "eating in" can be a pleasure.
The main living area also has an area with a table and chairs designed for you to pull out your laptop and comfortably work or catch up on some emails.
Outside of the main house there is a detached "Rumpus Room" which offers additional space to spread out. In the Rumpus Room you'll find a 55" smart TV, a shuffleboard table and plenty of games.
As far as sleeping goes . . . the primary bedroom has a king bed and en suite bathroom with rain head shower and is supplied with plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, etc.
The second bedroom also has a king bed and is tucked away at the back of the house just around the corner from the second bathroom which has a tub/shower and is also well stocked with necessities.
Both the living room and Rumpus Room have pull out sleeper sofas to accommodate extra guests. Both sleepers are a little larger than a double bed.
All in all there are lots of options for getting comfortable! All beds have quilts with down comforters so you'll be nice and warm regardless of the weather.
The house also has a washer and dryer for your use during your stay.
The other great feature about this house is the outdoor space and it's completely fenced. Whether grilling on the Weber charcoal grill and dining at the picnic table, making s'mores in the fire pit, playing games on the lawn or just relaxing on the deck - - it's a great space for hanging out.
