Recharge from your hectic life in the serenity of this cabin surrounded by forest, wildlife, and rivers. Read a book in a hammock overlooking the river, enjoy a peaceful soak in the hot tub while listening to the running river, or enjoy a cup of coffee while gazing out at nature and listening to the surrounding wildlife. Things to keep in mind:
There is no cell service at the cabin. Phones can be connected via wifi (albeit slower than you may be accustomed to) and there is a landline for use. The cabin is near a little market filled with primarily snacks and camping necessities, but you probably want to get your groceries in a larger town prior to driving to the cabin. Canyonville is the closest town with a grocery store. This cabin is also located in bear and cougar country. Please be alert. Do not let kids roam alone. Be safe when hiking. We also have poison oak on the property. We’ve tried to clear a lot, but you may run into it. There is Tecnu wash in the cabin. The creek supplies all the water in the cabin. Water goes through multiple filtration systems and has been tested safe, but you are welcome to bring your own drinking water if you desire.
Fire season runs throughout the summer months. During this time, it can be hazy. No fire pits are allowed. Please check local news for active fires in the area.
The closest hospital is in Roseburg (about an hour away).
