Positive: I liked the layout and the relatively close access to a beautiful stretch of ocean beach. David, AvantStay rep, was great to work with when we did have problems.

Negative: It is 20 or 30 feet from Highway 101. Lots of traffic noise. Also the the patio to the neighbor’s house to the south was 10-15 feet from this property’s patio. You could hear every word of the neighbor’s conversations. The ocean view is beautiful from the patio but a utility pole is in the way. (After a few days that didn’t bother me as much as it did initially). The Wi-Fi was an issue for 3 of the 7 days. It would work in some room, but not others. Finally a new router was put in that fixed the problem.

Summary: Overall a good place but not worth 11k for the reasons cited above.
