This lake-view cabin is just three miles from historic downtown Joseph, and a scenic drive to the lake from Wallowa Lake State Park, boat rentals at the marina, the tram to the top of 8,200-foot Mt. Howard, and the Wallowa Lake Trailhead - the gateway to the gorgeous Eagle Cap Wilderness.
Readily identified by the boat propeller mounted above the front porch, this lakefront home is a joy to return to after a day of adventure. The wraparound deck overlooks the lake and mountains, offering a lovely spot to barbecue, sit down for an alfresco lunch, or read a good book in the sun or shade.
Inside, wood-paneled walls create a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. Prepare your favorite meals using the kitchen's stainless steel appliances, gather for dinner and card games at the dining room table, and spend your evenings streaming movies in the lakefront living room. Two charming bedrooms, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer are also provided.
THINGS TO KNOW
Seasonal bbqs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement. Seasonal private docks are typically available Memorial Day thru Labor Day, longer if water levels permit. These are placed and pulled based on variables such as lake levels and snow. We do our best, but these items are non refundable items if a problem occurs with their timing of putting in the water and pulling from the water.
Streaming services are available with guests' own account(s).
The recently remodeled bathroom is physically limited to a 35 gallon water heater tank. Please stagger showers and/or use hot water economically.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
Security camera details: There's one camera on the front porch pointed toward the parking area and a second camera pointed toward the lake.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
