This impressive cabin rental boasts a great location on three acres of land in Troutdale, Oregon, just at the entrance to the Columbia River Gorge, and offers glampers the perfect summer destination. Just 15 minutes from downtown Portland, the rental boasts a quirky design including a 24' diameter silo and a spacious interior with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating nine glampers. The cabin was featured on the HGTV Show "Beyond the Box" for its architectural and cost saving elements. The host also built most of the cabinetry and furniture, including the dining room table, the beds, pool table, and entertainment center. The master bedroom has a king-size bed along with ample storage space and a sauna-like shower in the ensuite bathroom. The downstairs bedroom comes with a double bed, while the kids' room can be found in the upstairs silo and has a twin bed and a new queen sofa sleeper, as well as a few floor mattresses. In the downstairs silo, there is a double sofa sleeper. In the modern bathrooms, there are custom vanities (including a concrete one with glass), toilets, and showers. Linen and towels are provided by the hosts. In the unique living area, glampers can kick off their shoes and relax after an action-packed day checking out the waterfalls of the Columbia River Gorge. The living area comes with a large flat-screen TV with ample entertainment. The handcrafted hexangol pool table is great for some friendly competition while the chef of the group whips up a delicious meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. There is a breakfast bar and a custom slab dining table with plenty of seating. Other amenities include heating, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, and Wi-Fi. Outside, glampers will love the outdoor living space, with a large lawn and deck that overlooks a pond with a waterfall and has views of Mount Jefferson and Mt Hood. In the morning, glampers can sip on a cup of coffee, read the newspaper, or enjoy a lazy breakfast. Afternoons can be spent hanging out in the hammock or tree swing or exploring nearby McMenamins Edgefield for a concert or a brew. While evenings are reserved for firing up the barbecue and gathering around the cozy fire pit.This cabin offers conveniences that will make any glamper feel right at home during their stay. With amenities such as an indoor fireplace, heating, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, and Wi-Fi, glampers will enjoy the creature comforts of home. For entertainment, there is a television, Chromecast, gaming consoles, a pool table, and a Foosball table. Outdoors, glampers will find a deck with a fire pit, a barbecue, and a smoker. Additionally, there is a pond, a swing, a trampoline, and a slack line.
