Beautiful, private guest house in Austin’s hot Crestview neighborhood. Remodeled in 2018, this space has it all. Enjoy off street parking before you enter the main room, a beautiful open living space with gourmet kitchen and spacious living room. Enjoy Starbucks coffee and water left for you upon arrival. Everything you need to prepare a meal is there if you want it, or enjoy any of the dozens (truly, dozens) of restaurants within a 1.5 miles of your guest house. DirectTV, WiFi, games — all the comforts of home. Walk through the LR to your private bedroom with a beautiful queen size bed lots of pillows and blankets and a walk in closet. The on-suite bathroom has beautiful tile and a large stand up shower with linens, soap and shampoo for your convenience. We know what we like in a rental guest house, and have furnished it to fit our and most anyone’s needs.
Outside the guest house is a water feature, bird feeder (we love our birds), gas grill and shaded pavilion for you to enjoy dining al fresco in the lovely Austin air.
Walk 10 minutes to the Crestview Metrorail station and/or express bus to take you downtown in 20-30 minutes. The train is adjacent to the guest house, but it’s just two cars long and quietly whooshes by quietly from about 6:30am until about 11:30 pm. Occasionally, a larger train runs through once a night - louder but only lasting a minute or so. Earplugs provided in the nightstand.
Walk 10 mins from Grover Guest House to our local market, coffee shop, deli and breakfast place. And we are a very quick Ride-share to awesome brew pubs and all kinds of cuisine. We’ll leave a list in the house for you when you arrive.
You might see our 13 year old cairn terrier, Jack, fenced in around the main house. Very friendly - if you bring your pooch and they’re friendly, feel free to introduce them.
