Casa Caldesi is placed only 8 km far from the village of Castiglion Fiorentino, industrious centre of the Chiana Valley endowed with shops and services and, in the narrow medieval lanes surrounded with ancient period buildings, with typical 'trattorie' and Tuscan restaurants where it will be pleasant to taste the most renowned dishes of village food. The house is situated on the top of the 'Passo della Foce', in the tiny hamlet of Caldesi, from where you can glimpse an incredible view on the Val di Chio which, with its green, wooded hills, connects the Valdichiana to the Valtiberina and to the border with Umbria. The old restored farmhouse hosts on the ground floor some premises sometimes used by the owners, whereas, going up a cosy, external staircase you can reach the terrace-solarium equipped with table and chairs to enjoy outdoor meals. From the terrace you can either reach the apartments, or through some steps, the beautiful private swimming pool (size m. 10x5, depth m. 1-1,40 - open from 14 May to 17 September), equipped with sun umbrella and sun beds. At clients disposal also a barbecue, wood burning oven, a typical stove and a car spot inside the property. Furnishing is functional and comfortable, with some valuable, local antiques, a family inheritance that the owners have restored with care and respecting tradition.
