Positive: I have always liked staying at this hotel for its price and location, and it's especially nice after the remodel. I appreciated the helpful front desk customer service.

Negative: I don’t usually leave hotel reviews, but I really like this property and wanted to share some feedback about the cleaning products being used. The room we initially checked into had a very strong chemical fragrance that felt harsh and overpowering. It was intense enough that I asked the front desk if we could move rooms. The staff member was very helpful and moved us to a “non-allergic” room, which we appreciated. I would encourage the hotel to reconsider the types of cleaning products used, as the overwhelming scent may be difficult for guests with sensitivities.

Summary: Love the place. Can't stand the smell.
