Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: I stayed at this resort earlier this year and later booked it for July. When I was there earlier in the year my granddaughters were with me, and they really enjoyed the beach and the pool. Our unit was clean and quiet. Owner (wife) was super sweet

Negative: I was unable to make my trip in July due to a family emergency. I cancelled through booking.com and was told that they would send an email to the resort with the cancellation code in the hopes that my money could be refunded. Booking.com did send the email but no cancellation code, so I have been unable to receive a refund. I have followed up with booking.com and so has the owner (wife) of the resort. She has been doing her best to help me. Trying to speak with customer service at booking.com is a joke. I have sent emails, and they come back undeliverable. The resort is great except the kids playground is pretty run down and needs updating. But overall, I still give the resort 4.5 stars or an 8.5 out of 10

Summary: The time at the resort with my granddaughters was priceless.
