Below the flats is The Bramble, Silas Wines' tasting room, or walk across the street to Coelho Winery. A short drive or easy bike ride away is the inspirational Antica Terra winery or, visit the monastery of the Brigittine monks to sample some of their award-winning chocolates.
Where Jory now sits, the local Masonic Lodge once gathered over a century ago, holding meetings on a large raised platform. Today's guests can gaze eastward through updated windows to take in views of the lovely Eola–Amity Hills. The bright, airy space is furnished in soothing shades of blue, green, and grey, creating a peaceful and romantic atmosphere.
The Jory Flat features a semi-private bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, a large east-facing window that fills the room with morning light, and a charming south wall of exposed antique brick. In the living area, the sofa converts into a double bed to accommodate two additional guests, and a rollaway can be added upon request to sleep up to five in total. The bathroom is bright and inviting, with natural light streaming through a south-facing window. It combines vintage charm and modern comfort, featuring an antique clawfoot tub beside a sleek, glass-brick walk-in shower.
